The Client:
Champion Billiards Sports Cafes originated out of the love for the game of billiards. However, recognizing the love and passion for sports overall, in the mid-1990`s, they embraced the sports bar concept and transformed their facilities into neighborhood sports bars - a place where all sports enthusiasts would gather to enjoy good food, good friends, and good times.
The Challenge:
Champion Billiards had virtually no internet presence. The primary goal of Champion Billiards was to utilize the internet to help drive traffic to the events at their various cafe locations.
The Solution:
The Champion Billiards Internet solution consisted of the following combination of Whirlwind's products, standard services and customized services.
The following customized services where provided to ChampionBilliards.com:
- Cafe Location Management
ChampionBilliards.com web site administrators can add, edit and delete facility locations via a custom content management interface. With each location created, the web site automatically adjusts to include the location in the navigation hierarchy. Each location allows Web site administrators to specify unique facility features, party information, contact information, menus, automatic generated door to door directions, events, job opportunities and more - all specific to the facility location.
- Custom Event Management and Promotion
Whirlwind developed a custom event management and promotion system for ChampionBilliards.com. This application allows web site managers to create and present any number of events, classified under the appropriate restaurant locations. All events are presented to web site visitors in a user-freidnly calendar and event listing format. This event management system is tightly integrated with the iCampaign newsletter distribution system, allowing ChampionBilliards.com web site managers to easily distribute targeted events to patrons via email.
- 360 Degree Virtual Tours
In order to give web site visitors the most accurate representation of the cafe locations, Whirlwind integrated 360 degree virtual tours into the ChampionBilliards.com web site. Web site visitors can be virtually submerged into Champion Billiard's bar area, main dining facility, party rooms and pool rooms and more.
- Custom Integrated Electronic Newsletter
ChampionBilliards.com web site administrators are provided with a fully integrated, customized electronic newsletter management system. Visitors may register for the newsletter online or at locations. Web site administrators can create custom newsletters simply by selecting events and articles already entered into the content management system. These newsletters can be targeted to specific market groups by location or interest. Newsletters may also be distributed to custom email lists as Champion Billards sees fit.
